1. Label every box by room.
Write the destination room (Kitchen, Master Bedroom, Office, Garage, etc.) on every box. This makes unloading faster and helps ensure each box is placed in the correct location.
2. Label the rooms in your new home.
Before moving day, place a piece of paper on each door with the room name. Our movers will immediately know where every box belongs, eliminating the need to constantly ask where each item should go. This helps speed up the unloading process and makes your move more efficient.
3. Empty dressers, chests of drawers, and cabinets whenever possible.
This is not only about reducing the weight for the movers. During lifting and transportation, items left inside can shift and place additional pressure on drawers, shelves, and internal supports.
